Sustainability

Our approach to sustainability is built on being known as a trusted partner.  We conduct our business fairly, honestly and with integrity.  Our corporate strategy and sustainability strategy are not mutually exclusive – they are one and the same.

We want to be known as a responsible business and are determined to lead by example in the markets in which we operate

Expresso’s success will depend on our ability to build and deliver a sustainable business.  Because we operate in five African countries, our impact and influence is well known.  We want to be known as a responsible business and are determined to lead by example in the markets in which we operate.

In conjunction with our stakeholders, we realise that we must be a leader in finding ways to sustain economic growth and prosperity without damaging the environment and the communities we serve.  This simply means that we take a long-term view of our actions.

We recognise that listening to our stakeholders helps identify the key issues significant to our business and the communities in which we operate.  This is essential to how we manage sustainability.

“We want to be known across Africa as a leader in building and delivering a sustainable business and a more sustainable society.  We believe we have the conviction, courage, values and policies to achieve this significant goal.”
